Donations to the SLPOA Legal Fund
Thank you for considering a donation to help the Serene Lakes Property Owners Association fight the development plans by Royal Gorge LLC (commonly referred to as Foster/Syme, the principles of the LLC). We are faced with an immense development on Donner Summit and the Serene Lakes community. The development will make changes on the Summit that will alter a unique cultural and environmental heritage. Please be assured your funds will be used for legal, educational and lobbying activities to help ensure any development proposals are properly reviewed, scoped, and litigated if necessary.Contributions are as anonymous as the law permits. SLPOA will not share information about individual contributors and contributions. The only people who might become aware of an individual contribution would be the SLPOA admin (bookkeeping - depositing and accounting for any checks/cash received), Fran Freedle our current Treasurer, the auditor who does an annual audit of the books, and possibly our current President Bill Oudegeest. Of course checks deposited in our bank account may be known to bank personnel and logged by the federal banking system.
Checks should be made out to SLPOA and can be mailed to PO Box 669, Soda Springs CA 95728. SLPOA is a 501c4 association. However, donations to SLPOA are not tax deductible.
