ARTour 2010

From Columbe Tresan:

Dear Friends and Art enthusiasts!

I invite you to visit me at ARTour this year! I am showing my art at Troy Corliss' house in Truckee (my house in Serene Lakes is a little too far off the beaten path for most people, whereas Troy's house is centrally located in Truckee and much easier to visit.) Troy will be showing his art too, so you will be able to visit two artists in one convenient location!

ARTour is FREE and lasts for six days - July 9th - 11th, and July 16th - 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. ARTour is really fun because it is the one time during the year when you can just drop in on artists in their studios and see what they are making and how they do it. There are artists participating in many locations in the area including Tahoe City, Incline, Glenshire, Truckee etc.

I will be painting on site, for those who are interested to see how I make my silk paintings.

For more information and the maps showing the locations of all the artists participating in ARTour (including Troy and myself) I have attached the brochure (a PDF, 1 MB) or you can click on this link: ARTour also see my website!

I look forward to seeing you!

Colombe

 SLPOA Perspective Document

The SLPOA Preservation Committee has produced a Perspectives document that provides significant information about the efforts SLPOA and other Donner Summit organizations have undertaken on behalf of the Summit regarding development. The document - SLPOA Perspectives on Summit Controversies - can be downloaded or read in your web browser. It is 4 pages long so it may be more manageable to print it. Just click the link above and it will be presented in a separate window (or tab).
