What is Curry?

1. Is a spiced powder mixture, originating from southeast Asia where the main ingredient is turmeric.
2. From the southern Indian word kari, literally meaning “sauce,” it can be a combination of died spices or wet spices.
3. Curry and turmeric are interchangeable.  It is a root plant from the ginger family.
