What is confit?
  1. French for confetti, meaning a style of shredding fruits and vegetables to resemble confetti, typically used for garnishing.
  2. A method of preserving meats, typically goose, duck or pork, by slowing cooking it, in it’s own fat.
  3. French for jam or preserve.
