here’s a quick tip, when a recipe for adding garlic to a pan (e.g., sautéing
with oil), always add garlic last. This keeps it from burning and
tasting bitter.

| Lemons, How Much Juice: |
One lemon will
yield approximately 2-3 tablespoons of juice |
| Limes, How Much Juice: |
1 medium lime
will yield approximately 2 tablespoons of juice |
| Oranges, How Much Juice: |
1 medium orange
will yield approximately ¼ cup of juice |
Marshmallows, Keeping Fresh
To keep marshmallows from turning hard,
store them in the freezer. When thawed, they’re like fresh.
Cake, Sinking Nuts and Raisins

the Holidays, here are some really good tips/tricks: roll fruits, raisins, and nuts in flour
before adding to cake batter. The will be less likely to sink to the bottom of
the cake.
Overripe Tomatoes
Place overripe tomatoes in cold water and
add some salt. Overnight they will become firm and fresh.
