What is "Fond"?
a. A process of melting chocolate using a microwave oven.
b. Dark food particles stuck to the bottom of a pan (e.g., roasting pan) that caramelizes and is typically used to making sauces or gravy.
c. A French term meaning bottom or foundation of a fruit tart.
